In SL
Wow, we've both been really busy. Our flight went very well, overall,
but when we got to Colombo, we found that six bags hadn't made it.
Now I think there are only two left to come, the other four have all
been delivered. Since we've got in, Sarah (the other assistant) and I
have been very busy. We have to spend nearly all our time with the
students, guiding them to class at the center, showing them around the
neighborhood, answering questions (lots of questions), I can hardly
remember all what. But it's kind of like we were constantly on,
always have to be ready to do our job. That, plus jet-lag, mean I'm
very tired right now (it's maybe 8:30). Things are great, the food is
delicious, I saw my host family from when I was a student, things are
awesome. This evening the students met and joined their host
families (always awkward) and went home with them, so we no longer
bear quite so much responsibility. Hope things are good with you all.
By all means write, but don't expect a prompt response (even by my
standards) as our internet access is pretty limited and I'm pretty
busy.
