Time to go

Okay, this will be short, because I need to go finish packing and get
off Brian's computer. Basically the main thrust of this message is to
tell anyone reading this that if I haven't written to you yet, I'm not
going to until I reach Korea, I don't think there's anything too time
dependent. If I'm wrong, please let me know ASAP.

Over the past couple days I've been up in Elgin, at the heart of
Scotch whiskey country. I was staying with a friend from C venues,
and basically just had a very nice time being in a small town near the
coast and doing nothing. Well, nothing more than visiting a
distillery, a beach, and just wandering around a little. A very
pretty, if rather long, bus ride up and back, going through what I
take to be typical highland country along the road between Edinburh
and Inverness. It was nicer going back, because it was actually
sunny, the trip up was more typically Scottish, all rainy and foggy.
Although apparantly that part of the coast gets the most sun, or is
mostly likely to get some sun on any given day, of anywhere in the UK,
hence a couple big RAF bases up there.
