Safely in Hong Kong

Yep, that's it. I'm here, I'm fine, I'm having a good time. Saw a
dragon blessing dance last night in passing, a very long dragon with a
grass body, with incense sticks along its spine, and all over its
tail. I've got a place to stay at a new apartment belonging to
friends of Paula's, my friend from Edinburgh. The apartment's
completely empty at the moment, because they just bought it and
haven't moved in yet, but I've taken a few things over for them (and
me), like bowls, cups, dishes, etc., and it's working out very well.
It's a fair ways out of the center of town, but transportation is a
lot cheaper than a hostel in the center of town, so that's good. Now
I'm at the library, getting a few books for my trip to China and
checking e-mail. Need to go get lunch.
